Abril Benitez is a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University. Her dissertation focuses on the effect of information sources on consumers’ food safety behavioral intent. Abril is part of the Research and Extension Experiences For Undergraduates- Education Coordinated Network (REEU-ECN), supporting undergraduate development and leading the network’s  video podcast (Podeo) series, which highlights student stories, research, and career paths in the FANH Sciences.
